I was born and raised in Monroe County, a rural farming community in southeastern Ohio. We are a community of farmers, coal miners, steel workers, teachers and everything in between. The people of Monroe County work hard and support one another, and I carry those values with me every day.
After graduating from a small high school in 1998, I was accepted into the University of Dayton and began studying political science and history. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2002 and entered The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law later that fall. In 2005, I passed the bar exam and have been helping the people of central Ohio with their legal needs ever since.
In 2016 I gave birth to twin boys, Ezra and Fritz. Being a mother has pushed me to strive even harder in my career and to take this leap of faith. I have spent the majority of my legal career in the Franklin County Municipal Court. Most importantly, I’ve worked with the vast array of Franklin County citizens who come through our court, whether as a plaintiff or defendant, in the civil or criminal arenas. It is these people to whom I have dedicated my professional life and I would like to continue that pursuit. I will bring character and integrity to the bench and ensure that everyone is treated with the respect and fairness they deserve. I will bring balanced justice to the Franklin County Municipal Court. I hope you will support me in this important endeavor.
